My husband and I were extremely excited to open our very first Cairn box, the brand new monthly subscription box for outdoor enthusiasts. The beauty of this box is it has something to offer pretty much any outdoor athlete. My husband the cyclist, and myself, running nut, both found goodies to please our personal needs.
Cairn’s founding outdoor enthusiast Robert Little lived in Panama for his service in the Peace Corps before his entrepreneurial endeavor into creating Cairn boxes, and he brings a keen eye for the outdoor couture to his careful hand curated boxes. The subscription works similar to the Birchbox and Barkbox, where boxes full of both full and sample sized goodies arrive to subscribers doors each month. The boxes are perfect for the outdoor active gear junky with a knack for having the latest and greatest products, as many bitems make their debut in Cairn boxes.
Subscriptions are 25$ per month, and well make up for themselves in the quality of items delivered. This month we received a Hydroflask, the newest technological water bottle that promises to keep hot beverages hot for up to 12 hours, and cold beverages just so for 24 hours. There was a small pot of Joshua Tree hiker’s salve, an organic skin-healer effective for treating cuts, blisters, chaffing, rashes, scrapes, and bee stings (read: runner’s best friend). A mosquito deflecting bracelet (Mosquitno), a Honey Stinger Honey Waffle bar, and an Old Ephraim Strapgear utility strap rounded out the box, all of which will be perfect for summer adventures.
Subscribers can get products directed at their personal interests by filling out a profile detailing their outdoor adventure needs, filling out reviews, and thus earn points towards free boxes. A win-win scenario for consumers.

This is an unsponsored review- we just really love getting a little present every month and think that you will too!
Make your day great!
